The Story of Robin Hood and His Merrie Men (1952)

Summary: Under the rule of Prince John, fledgling hero Robin Hood is forced to relinquish his property after beating the Sheriff of Nottingham in an archery tournament. Robin forms a group of like-minded avengers to rise up against the taxes taken by Nottingham. Robin then tries to save King Richard from Austrian captivity by contributing to his ransom, but Prince John stands in the way of his plan, while Maid Marian is held hostage.
